Hello and welcome to the website of Bury Parish Church. We hope you find your visit both enjoyable and informative, and would welcome your comments.
The church is the only Grade I listed building in the town and is open to visitors throughout the week (please see 'visit the church' for further details).
Within the church, you will find 'The House on the Rock'; our Christian book and coffeeshop, which opened in January 2009.

Forthcoming Events
Saturday 11 July 2009 - Elizabeth Hampson, Christopher Parsons, John Findon Jnr and friends present "A Summer Evening of Musical Entertainment" - in church at 7.30pm. Guest appearance from international opera and concert singer, Maggie McDonald. Entrance fee (pay on the door) is £3.00, will all proceeds going towards the work of the St. Michael's Children of the Rainbow orphanage, Mombassa and Verbist Care Centre, Ulaambattar, Mongolia. Saturday 25 July 2009 - By special request! The Swing Commanders return to Bury Parish Church (Blackburne Hall) - Tickets, priced £10.00, can be purchased from the House on the Rock from Saturday 6th June 2009.
